Our Apex R billet aluminum knobs are lightweight. Our stainless steel knobs are weighted.

Hey stupid question: do you guys offer your ashiko shift knob in blue? I'd much rather have a steel knob than aluminum but all I saw was silver and I want it to match.

Thanks!

Anyone use this? If so, does it actually keep your knob cool...?

Here's my MTEC Industries shift knob. Been loving it since day one. I used to have a heavy weighted blox shift knob but decided to change things up a bit. Loving it so far.

I don't use that, but I stitched my own. Total cost? 27cents. I made it to fit the knob, so it's not loose when shifting during hot weather. I'll take a pic later.

Here's mine. It gets hot right now at 95 and up degrees. But it teaches me to get my hands of the shifter and on the steering wheel.

Anybody think that the translucent coated Slammer knobs might not get quite so hot as the bare steel ones? Might be a pretty good deal if so. Not sure if the coating would have much of an insulating quality though.

I don't know the answer to this but I'm looking into doing some simple testing with our heat gun. I just need a hot day here to do a side by side heat comparison.
