This.

I have the same car and it's only 5k (on a good day) blue book.

Part of the rear bumper, rear 1/4, door/trim, paint. I'd be surprised if they didn't total it.

I'd like to know what the lady was thinking? She must have been old, or on the cell phone to not notice she was digging into the side of your car.

I say it's totaled. It would take an insurance company thousands just to replace the rear quarter alone.

Then you've got to paint the quarter and the door and blend them into the fender, roof, rear bumper, and, depending on how meticulous your body shop is, possibly the hood.

That's a LOT of hours of labor. I'm going to say totaled.
I agree! I've seen it done and it does take a lot of work. Once the OP said the year and history, now I believe it will be totaled out.

Yea, I agree. I had someone barely tap me in the back front fender well of my Astro. it made three small "golf ball dimples" right on the wheel well. The insurance estimate to repair it was almost $1500. It was purely cosmetic.

That money ended up in the car fund that will pay for the FR-S!

Insurance finally contacted me today and has determined the car to be totalled. The damages were above 5500$ from what they said to me, and they valued the car at 6600 retail. Time to search for a dd until my brz gets here

I suppose congrats in a sense? To get $6600 for a 120K 03 civic si with hail damage on the market would be tough, at least in Ontario, so hopefully you can find a cheap beater dd until your new sports car.

It might be worth it to buy back from the insurance company and driving it as is until you get your BRZ.
