What kind of coolant are you using? I would use mostly water with the MoCool and maybe just a tiny bit of antifreeze to raise the boiling point.
Did you remove the guides which direct flow into the radiator? If air isn't hitting the radiator properly it's not going to do much cooling. Last edited by xwd; 07-04-2014 at 02:22 PM. |

Your Oil temp is high but that Water temp is not good especially on a short uphill, I really wonder if your thermostat is working properly.

I don't think you will find a socket that fits properly. You kind of have to just tighten it down and torque it with the socket not fitting perfectly.

Do you have any ceramic coating or heat wrapping of the manifold and down pipe? Do you have a turbo blanket? At this point I would do anything I could to reduce engine bay temps and try to get more air to your radiator. Are your cooling fans working properly? Have you tried venting the hood?

I would say for track duty (or anywhere where freezing isn't an issue) your best bet is mostly distilled water with the MoCool added in and maybe a small amount of normal coolant for additional lubrication and to raise the boiling point. A high pressure radiator cap might also be useful to raise the boiling point. Also make sure your fans are working, a few people on here have had the FBM slim fans fail... If you don't have an air pocket you definitely are having issues with airflow or coolant flow. |

It seems that fans working well, but when I turn on AC, temperature drops about 7-8C degree. Will make additional ventilation this week on the hood and front bumper. |

You will definitely want an EcuTek cable to be able to datalog your car. No forced induction owner should be without one.
