Well do you complain about women not liking you because you're too nice? There are two types of nice guys in this world to put it simply. Those who are nice, because they are nice to everyone, and those who are nice and use it as a "tactic" to get with girls.

The ones who say they are nice, but hate on men who get girls and call them "douchebags", now those are the real losers.

Your post above clearly hints that you are only going the 'nice guy' route because you want access to the secret back door. A truly nice guy (read: gentlemen and scholar ) would be nice for the sake of being nice. Can you honestly duplicate your level of effort with this girl for a guy friend you casually know? If the answer is no, then you are 'being nice' for the sake of cashing in.

I think you guys are reading into this too much. I am just as nice to that girl as I am to any of my other friends or just people in general but I took an extra step because I always liked her. I would do anything for a friend.
