Relationship advise?
 

Hey guys I wrote this letter to a good friend of mine who I have had feeling for. We have known each other since elementary school and I've always been around for her. Especially after the last couple of boyfriends she broke up with. I wrote her this letter and I I'm not really sure where I went wrong.

The phrase "friend zone" is a real thing. Her response is a no. Writing a letter like that makes the relationship awkward. The only thing you can do now IMO is try and act "normal" like before the letter and stay friends.

And that spend a day with you bit sounds kind of weird unless you guys regularly spend a day together as friends or something.

Friends Only.
That's all it's ever going to be.
Don't waste your money on her.
Move on.

Please just stop talking to her. Each text is more cringeworthy than the one before it.

It's just ashame though because she always comes to me after she breaks up with her boyfriends. The first one punched her. The second one was a drug dealer. The third one threatened her and well we've been friends for such a long time. We've been to prom together, camping, Co-workers, atv riding, etc. I just don't want to lose her in my life because she has always been a large part of it. I never wanted to tell her how I felt because I was afraid of something like this. But it got to the point where she was in my dreams and always on my mind. It was killing me on the inside and now I feel much worse.

Well you should have post before giving her the letter.

She really doesn't want you. She just told you she has no time for you, only has time for herself and her next fling.

Take the hint and move on.

Oh and her mom send me this after she found the letter.

Right now it hurts so bad, in the end don't waste your time on someone who won't give you the same in return.

Yea, her mom is really cool. She even said at one point not to me but someone else that she wished we would go out together (me and her daughter) at some point in time. Her last few boyfriends weren't all that great.

Been there before. It sucks. But you want advice right? Just stop texting her. Really, just stop. It's going to hurt you a lot to do that, especially since she's played such an important role in your life, but you have to do it. Let her be the one to start missing you and realize what she lost, and let her ask you to come back in her life.

Seemed like she was saying she wasn't interested in a very roundabout way to not hurt you.
