I was there too but too busy with the car and excited.

Sounds pretty much like my experience at Longo and Pasadena. First paragraph being Longo, and 2nd paragraph being Pasadena (minus the actual deposit). But I didn't receive a phone call from either one. Bullshit lol.

Jack Hollis told us that the FR-S is coming in June (when we were out in Long Beach).

That's odd, I've had a $500 deposit at Longo Scion since 12/30/11. David Gentry is the salesman. I initially chatted on their website which has pictures of the FR-S from the Hollywood unveiling. I gave them my information and they were calling me that day. I spoke to a marketing lady and she was very eager to get me to come in and put a deposit down. I came in person and they directed me to David Gentry and I had my deposit down within 30 minutes. I'm number 10 on their list and I'm getting email updates from David. He told me June 1 the FR-S will be available. Will I get mine? no answer.

I am just saying everyone assume June 1st but Jack didn't actually say when in June it going to be release, like he never actually gave a date when the first 86 will actually get there cars in May. We assume June 1st, because of the dealer, and the dealer assume the 86er would get there car in April, but it got push to May. It just doesn't seem that June 1st would be the actual general release date. Until I see the date on there website, it guessing just like the price before it was release.

I know Subaru has cars on boats for their dealerships based on someone already getting a VIN, and with a drive out the door day of like 3-4 weeks away. Scion does as well at this point for at least the first 86 folks. Everyone else will get their June 1st dates, but don't expect the entire shipment for each dealer on June 1st. I'm expecting to not see my car until end of June or early July considering I'm 3rd in line at a dealership getting 6 cars.

Stopped by Scion of Richardson (TX) yesterday. The Scion sales manager did not have a release date nor did he care to guess. He knew a little about the car but not how many he would be getting. He did say that his dealership was pretty low volume and did not expect to get a bunch.

Clearly dealerships vary in how they handle FR-S. I put down a $500 deposit in Kirkland WA for one back in September. They took my money, gave me a receipt, and started the list since I was the first one. I've received several emails from them since then keeping me up to date. All in all, a good experience.

I stopped at my closest toyota/scion dealer, talk to the scion sales manager. We went into what color transmission, what options (floor mats, fog lights) etc. etc. He told me that within his district there was gonna be 108 FRS's coming (50 auto 58 manual). I told him I would like to get within the first run of the FRS, he didnt seem optimistic.(wanting Raven w/ manual) He also told me that he has a Red manual coming in and if the guy backs out would i like it, and want it. Last but not least he told me that him and the other scion sales managers are going to get to take the FRS on a race track(Mid Ohio).

So, no deposit yet, no promises that I will be able to get the color i want, BUT I know im 2nd in line, and no release date.

So there's not yet an allotment confirmation, right? Cuz the dealership guy had no clue of allotment for Pasadena.

I dropped In to my dealer today. I was told that the FRS I put a down on is coming in June along with only one other. I don't know if it Is B.S. but he said only 80 something are coming to Cali. I did not ask if he meant this year or from the first shipment. Both are red manual.
He said the price will exactly 24,930 no other fees or dealer mark up. He said only thing that will cost more is any dealer extras that I choose, like spoiler or extra warranties. nothing will be added once they get it.

Yes. First in line for Ardmore Toyota/Scion outside of Philadelphia. Ultramarine with Manual. Confirmed "Pure Price" and reasonable doc fee ($109). Said that dealers who do not honor the "Pure Price" risk getting their franchise license revoked; Toyota is serious about it. Put down a $500 refundable deposit.

Thought first deliveries would be between a month from now and early June but did not have any additional information.
