When i was at the NYAutoShow two days ago the scion rep said delivery has already started to dealerships and they would be available in May. He said it was something he heard from the region managers or whoever while he was there.

As far as exhaust is concerned, ima put on my own so im not too worried about the trd exhaust
"Scion Expert" is just Scion's BS lingo for "Car Salesman" which in itself is BS lingo for "the guy/gal who can take your money for stuff by convincing/pressuring you with nothing but words"

passion for the item is not a requirement.

Per JHollis 1st86 in May general availability after 6/1. The first ones for the east coast are probably on a boat now

Easy bro.

'Scion Expert' 'Scion Champion' 'Scion Sales Manager' 'Scion Whatever' Most dealerships give that tilte to someone who DOES have a passion for the brand and car culture.

We aren't all scumbags. So please don't generalize. Reading that shit everyday on here is getting pretty old.

Someone mentioned this before but its worth mentioning again. As a pure guess June 8th is probably a good one.

June 8th would be the 8th day of the 6th month. 86 much?

^^ I'll let you know when I meet one of you that isnt a scumbag

Which I am seriously hoping I WILL meet one at my chosen dealership. After meeting everyone that works for Scion HQ, if the scion experts @ the dealerships are even half as enthusiastic then I think everything is gonna be awwwwwright.

I asked isnt there a waiting list he said yes but were getting 20 cars!! i was like "wow"?!? sounds pretty good...if the BRZ doesnt come through as planned...I probably be moving towards the FRS

ROFL. The 1st Scion dealer I talked to out here NEVER called me back when I called them about it. The guy SWORE he'd call me back within 2 days. 2 weeks later I walked in with my checkbook and was like "I want to put money down on an FRS." He got all uppity and took me to their "office" (cubicle in the showroom) and then proceeded to waste my time. I didn't get to pre-order. They had no clue about the car. It was hilarious. I walked out, and the dude took my information and SWORE he'd call me.

1 week later I went to the Scion dealer by work, gain checkbook in hand, and said I want an FRS. The lady had me start filling out a finance form with just enough to get it all started, and then took my check. I called back after 1pm like I was supposed to, and was told I was 3rd in line. The next week I got a call to confirm I still wanted it, and the color and transmission I wanted. I was then told I'd get another call when they had more details such as final price/etc when I made all of my selections/car was on the way.

Night and day difference. Night and day.

I feel for you man. Everyone lumps you guys with the bad ones. I know that some of the Scion dealers are really into what they do, and try to promote a community. I know some of the ones out here will throw "meets" and have BBQs for their customers to all come and hang out together. It's pretty cool, and not what you'd expect if you believed everyone on these forums.
