No problems with the windows hitting anything but if you do not put the door all the way down when closing it to latch it will rise and the door will strike against the latch bolt. In order to help prevent further damage to the door I have put a strip of rubber above the latch on both doors.

looks like good solid work and skipping over to the last vid shows that the work looks pretty good.

couple of things that i'm concerned with with the video though...

1 - is it me or does it look like the bottom portion of the door does not line up with the body now? or is that just an illusion?

2 - when I saw you pull the door down, it looks like the metal gives a little and bends a bit. how's the wear and tear of the module? it looks like the mounts don't take stress very well with the bouncing of the doors with the brace.

I mean for me i'm not a fan of vertical doors, but it's a bit unique in this term since it actually pulls out and then up so i'm wondering about the build as well as the braces to see how they are reinforced.

I think it looks pretty damn hot! Nice job on the doors. The FRS is a fun car to customise and is a great hobby.

Original owner? That is awesome, My wife has a 91 MR2 but we aren't old enough to be the original owners haha. Do you have pictures of your MR2?

Also awesome job on the mod, I like it!

What are you going to do about the fact that the entire car was built by Subaru? Well except the DI system

Wondering if you can tell me a bit more about the doors. Can you use them like regular doors for daily use and use the vertical door mode for fun?

When you open the door, does it spring to vertical door mode or easy to accidently bounce into vertical door mode?

What happens when the door is vertical and you push door towards the body of the car...it looked a bit wobbly in the video. Any chance of damage to the body/frame of the car.

I like the kit, entertaining the idea of getting this done. Just want to make sure its a solid kit.

I think this would look better if it were on some kind of track to swing upward instead of having to go outward with all that play. Really like the look though.

adjustment to keep doors open on hills

Your mod is very impressive to me.
I wonder if you or others know of a way to adjust the standard FRS doors to stay open on slight hills? Mostly my need is on sideway hills, not front to back, but both would be nice. My 2013 has a hard time staying open.
