No time to party... 86CUP is serious business. :p

Anyways since I didn't reserve covered parking, when I arrive I hope to secure parking as near the main building as possible and set up our tent. It'll be a green tent, same one we had at the Summer kickoff. Look for me there!

The ones who came back already, how was it? Did they open the new section? Can't wait for pictures and stories.

At iceman...yeah, couldn't make this round. But I should have more next time.

Tried to get every twin there... Unfortunately, I don't know who had which numbers, except a few of you... If you don't see your number here, let me know and I'll sift through what I took to see if I got you (I also added a Golf TDI and a Caterham):

Great fun on the track yesterday. Soo tired and still thirsty when I got home last night. Stay safe everyone who is doing day 2 at the track, and keep drinking that water. Gonna be HAWT out there!!!

Plato passed this S2000... think he might have been a little angry because I kept hearing stories about an S2000 being a bit of a **** on the track, hmmmm.

What a fun and hot day for day two. The morning Solo session was cut short because there were a lot of people driving like idiots; passing with no point by, others refusing to point others by, 6 people went off. Well, for the last part, I was one of the six. However, in my defense, I showed Luc the video of my 360 off-road excursion and he was cool with me and just said that I needed to lower the pressure in my rear tires. I was coming out of turn 2 too hot and spun at almost 70 mph.

Now my car is covered in dust and dirt, inside and out

So, afterwards I lowered the rear pressures to 32 and checked the fronts to keep them at 34. However, it seems that a piece dirt got in the valve stem of the front right because it went flat. So, I ran the whole second session with a flat front right and still managed to get a 2:23. Afterwards, I checked the tire for damage and filled it back up and it stayed at pressure for the rest of the day with no issues.

Many thanks to @ddeflyer for the ride-alongs and the great tips and pointers.

It helped tremendously.

My stock brakes are toast so I need to get some track pads before the next track day.

With that said, who all is going to the Thunderschliefe run on July 11?

Exhausted and dehydrated but it was awesome hanging out with y'all 86 HPDE'ers!! Keep driving it does the body good!!
