Will the regular 2.5 Perrin CAI work fine with the OFT maps? Or will i have to adjust the MAF or AFR's through RR?

just installed the Kraftwerks SC kit, now onto tuning using the OFT.
does anybody know if the stock MAP sensor can also be rescaled so it can read about 1bar/15psi? stock it seems it can read up to 0.4bar Or do i need an upgrade sensor like the denso/honda K20 map sensor? |

They are very similar until you get near 5V. It should be safe. Perrin was nice enough to share their scaling though, so there's no reason to not adjust it in RR.

I have been running a OFT that I purchased new about 2 months ago; running the latest software. 93 octane, only other mods are HKS drop-in, snorkel mod, cat delete pipe and muffler delete.
After about my 5th track day and 1k miles later after I installed it, I've noticed that it's stumbling on warm startup pretty good; two cranks with nothing, 3rd crank stumbles a bit then idles fine after that. Full WOT without any issue after that, no CEL lights or anything. Any ideas what is causing this or has anyone else had the same issue? Flashed back to the stock tune and it's not stumbling anymore.

When you flashed back to stock it would have had 10 minutes to cool down. Other than bump up idle speed dont think oft tune on petrol do much else in that area dont think they changed cranking enrichment on petrol. leave bonnet up to let heat out after track work may solve it. |

Hopefully a quick question for someone. I updated my oft tonite using the OFM program. I clicked on "upgrade" after, however it keeps asking me for a template? What does that mean?

Sometimes when the firmware is updated on the tablet you have to apply a new template. Shiv usually tells us if/when we need to upgrade the template. If you are looking to get the newest maps you will need to either download the off the shelf maps on Shiv's site or wait for new Dev files to be released. As of the most currently released maps the 1.5x series, the only difference between the 1.50 and subsequent versions is the added support for additional CalID's and as such there is no need to load the newest versions of the maps if the OFT currently works for you and you have at least a 1.5x series map on it OR the dev fiile. |
