New noise now!!! FML sounds like a pulley or belt.

It is the belt. If I remember correctly when I had that when my belt tension is bit too much. Try adjusting your belt tension it should clear the noise easily.

Also using a cogged pulley the 21mm (recommended) between the plate and under the bolt would be too loose and will give you a lot of belt wobble/play. It will need a bit more based on my experience in installing the kit.

BTW: The more tension the more whine, so play with the tension a little bit until you hit your sweet spot.

Thx I'll give that a try, I'm using the smooth idler pulleys. Cogged ones have yet to come in.

Remember you have to loosen the idler pulley next to the tensioner to adjust the tension and bolt down everything to specs again when done.

I think this applies to @NCItaly as well...

Check your belt tension guys... sounds a little too much tension. And make sure that the cogged belt does not bounce to much up and down.

Correction if the belt moves to much then you have to add more tension and that sound will go away as well.

That's what I thought too since the first time I had a similar noise, the tension was not enough (belt was a bit loose) once the tension bolt is set to ~21mm it should go away

@NCItaly and @noob001
Mine sounds exactly like that. I'm gonna loosen the belt tomorrow for the ride to work to see what happens.

Kraftwerks Supercharger Owners Thread

Mine was set to 22mm with smooth pulley. Set it to 21mm spec, still has same noise. Should I tighten more ??, the belt does not move at all.

Would wait for @KraftWerks to chime in on that so there aren't any warranty issues...

Compare the flex with the serpentine OE belt and go from there. There should be some flex but not to much.

Also have you re-check the torque on all the idler pulley's.
