Can't decide (new to car mods) turbo or supercharge

Many frs/brz owner find that the torque and whp is a low end on their car and modify their car with a forced induction system. Keeping in mind that the FA20 is an excellent motor ! How do you choose your turbo kit or super charger kit? Do you try to maximize power or add little power?

When you go for a turbo/supercharger what are the things you keep in mind?

Stock FRS, stock exhaust, stock everything! I want to go turbo with my car, can I just buy a turbo kit. Get it installed and tune the car's software or do I have to do more?

Should I change the axle, driveshaft and the differential?
Should I change anything in the exhaust?

Which turbo should I get? They are all good. How do you guys go by it?

You choose turbo kit. You try to maximize power. You keep in mind how much better your car is with a turbo than a supercharger. Yes you can just buy a turbo kit, install it, and tune it. You don't have to do more. No. Yes. GT2871R. I go by it well.

It is difficult, but I tried to keep my answers short and sweet and maybe someone will enjoy them.

How do you do it for the MPG, do you full tank and drive until you're empty and take the number?

How much does your turbo consume versus how much when you had it stock (estimation)?

Installing 600HP Direct Bolt-in Rear Axles fits most turbo or do I need to get the 1000HP?

Thanks again for the patience!!

Now that I have a turbo, I find myself draining the gas tank after every drive to calculate how much gas I just used. The normal miles driven divided by how many gallons I used doesn't work on turbo cars.

I'd recommend just swapping in a Dana 60 rear end to avoid breaking anything.

Ohh okay woode, that's too bad ! Everyone wants turbo, but gas price keeps rising! I want to install my turbo kit, but I don't want to double gas consumption. I don't mind if it consumes more... just not 100% more! You know?

Search YouTube for brz Crawford by /drive channel and call that guy up or just keep scrolling related videos to learn a little more. Then come back here and search for turbo vs supercharger and you will find plenty and ask on that post
