Been reading through these Q&As all morning, now I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with all this information! My Asphalt Frs is starting to show some light swirls, but I am hoping I will be able to renew them without the use of an orbital. Yesterday I tried the mequires scratch X, and it seemed to do nothing.
If my swirls are minor what is the easiest method to remove them? Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk |

you will need an orbital polisher to get to your swirls.
take a look at this kit Griot's Random Orbital Polisher Swirl Removal Kit |

Phil,
This coming weekend I'm looking to clay bar my car to get the insect bits off that the insect remover isn't getting. After that I'm going to apply the Sonax paint cleaner and polymer net shield. I just want to verify that I'm doing everything in the right order before I do something stupid and drown in a soap bucket. My order of operations is: FE wheel cleaner - spray, wait, rinse Insect remover - spray, wait, rinse Wash with shampoo, wool mitt, and soap and rinse buckets Dry Clay bar with detail spray as lubricant Paint cleaner Polymer net shield Am I missing anything? Is there anything I need to wash off from the clay bar and paint cleaner before I seal the paint? Do I need to worry about keeping the sealant off the glass? Do you recommend a quick wax or something to go on top of the sealant to make it super shiny? Thanks, Jeff |

That sounds like a good plan of attack. No need to top Sonax Polymer Net Shield. Here is is after we finished compound and polishing out, final step Sonax Polymer Net Shield ![]() Phil |

I have had a cheap karcher electric one the family uses to power wash our concrete steps and small back patio. Since I started washing my car I bough a foam cannon for it. Thing is like 15 years old and still kicking. Unless you are running a side business or full time business I don't think you really need a fancy machine. But if you got the $ more power to you.

What's better? Foam or mf pads? Who makes good ones? Is mf or foam better on da vs rotary?
For me, there is no glide in pulse and glide :p |

And wool wash mitt vs mf wash mitt? Wool one seems super soft and not durable but microfiber is a pretty advanced technology. How do those compare to each other and to a sea dponge
For me, there is no glide in pulse and glide :p |

New to the clay bar - is it necessary to wax after using a clay bar on your car?
