So which tune are you running?

Stage 2 EL e85 on a totally stock car (just the tune, wheels, and tires).

Great to hear shiv, I was on the fence getting the BPBs with the tune but I have e85 a couple blocks away...

This might sound crazy since I don't know a damn thing when it comes to creating tunes.
Is there anyway to provide more power down low power (E85) with the trade off of losing power up high? I'm guessing if that was possible, someone would of already done it lol.

PS: Is there any discussion on making the E85 maps "stronger" or are they already topped off?

If you are not already running headers that will give a bit more torque midrange, uel headers seem slightly better at low midrange torque than el headers but el generally produce slighty more top end power.

Billet poer blocks BPB, will bring your peak power a bit lower in rpm range and a bit more midrange but they dont work well with FI or E85.

E85 already provides more torque throught rpm range due to ability to run more ignition advance on that fuel.

Even though OFT tunes are off the shelf one size fits all they seem to perform well even when compared to custom tunes or people who have opted for custom e tune

Their is maybe a few percent extra to be gained in places and maybe tidy up maf scale and lean it out slightly ,clean up bit of knock on some fuels but no big gains to be had.

Rule of thumb with these cars seems to be NA plus full bolt ons and tune will net you maybe 35 wheel horsepower on E85 maybe 25 on good petrol.

If you want more FI is the way to go

There is just no big gain NA

Tune tease

Much as part of me was thrilled to learn that you are working on this, it's been a week now. Stop announcing this stuff when it's still so far away damnit!

-Revised Stage 2 (revised ignition mapping)
-Added both 91 an 93 oct map variants
-No changes to E85 maps at this time.

By the time the v1.60 maps are released, there may be a few more changes. But that is all for now

Oh, we have complete faith that he'll do as he says. We just want him to stop teasing. I'd personally much prefer "look what I did!" to "sometime in the foreseeable future, I'll have this ready."

Taking advantage of the new flkc data logging feature.

Here in this log I see flkc occurs on the highway at a certain rpm.

http://www.datazap.me/u/boofneenee/s...og=0&data=1-12

I typically get some knock correction on the highways so I believe it makes sense to see some flkc, or does it?

Also, watch has my advanced mult. progresses its way back to 1.0. I just flashed over to E85 for the first time and I am really enjoying the drive. No tq dip is fun!

* hmm.. it appears that I did not get the most recent patch to properly display the flkc. *
