Upgrade to 8.58 and see if the problem persists. Do you have the file, or still waiting? I ran .52 with no issues, I think it was 51 that had the codes popping up on people but I could be wrong.

I keep popping I think code P0301. 8.58 tune, 93 octane, intercooled, 70mm pulley.

I can make my car misfire on cylinder 2 if I get around 5k rpms and roll on to the throttle slowly. Same specs as you listed. Makes a really nasty almost tearing sound when it happens. Probably my coil pack being a piece of shit.

I can as well using a similar technique but I don't get any sound, just a flashing cel of P0303. I can also get it to flash it by not allowing full warm up and pushing it early.

I logged all 4 cylinder misfire counts and it happens actually in both 2&3 cylinders, even though it only throws P303 which is for #3.

Checked plugs, they looked good but replaced them anyway and swapped coils, neither had any noticeable effect if I induce as per above.

Now if I don't intentionally induce it and allow time to warm up before getting into it, I've had no issue.

Same thing if mine isn't warmed up as well basically. If I go WOT it never happen, but if I try and hold the rpms up high around 5-7k it goes nuts and misfire like crazy causing a flashing cel as well. Mines only been on cylinder 2 so far.

Exact same with mine to the letter. It's awful of I don't let it warm up first. WOT though it's awesome.

I've heard Toyota have a TSI out on the coil packs. Soon as I have a copy I'll post.
Many stock cars are having coils replaced so this is not tune or F1 related.

I have a 2013 BRZ and the 2014s apparently have a different part number for the coil pack. When I replaced the coil pack I just replaced it with the 2013 version and, as stated above got the same P0302 CEL a month later. So, are the people here with the coil pack problem in 2013 cars or 2014?

I'm assuming most are 2013's, then again, most of the 2013's didn't start exhibiting coil pack issues in the first year either.

I just finished my custom dual install with Shorai battery. Dropped 28 lbs over my previous install using the standard dual Radium bracket plus custom adapter and OEM battery.

You have any details on your custom adapter? I am interested in getting both the battery and catch can in the future.

This mornings drive to work with the Nameless intake pipe, not coated. Peak IAT temp was 58 C which is 136 F with the average being in the low to mid 30's C which is around the 90 F mark during highway driving. Outside temp was between 70-75 F. I'll do a drive tomorrow or the next day with the Innovate intake pipe to see if there is much of a difference.

Basically, I bought the FT86speedfactory lightweight battery kit then made a new tie down piece that incorporates two Radium catch can mounts.

When I purchased the dual cans from Radium I had them send their universal dual mount, I provided the dual mount and the FT86speedfactory tie down to a aluminum fab shop and asked them to make one flat piece incorporating both.

This is what they made me. I had it powder coated and put the sticker Radium provided.
