Just heard info about sale date - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Just got some news from a buddy of mine and he said that BRZ's will be available for sale from dealers the last week of April. Anyone heard this too? Confirm? Thanks.

yeah, that's been a rumor floating around. It started from some car mag saying "BRZs will go on sale April 20th" but we're not sure if that means actually available to buy in person, or what. Most all the other marketting material says some time in May the cars will start arriving, so the april 20th date might just be the date cars start shipping over here.

You are right, but I am sure you are aware of the over abundance of repeat threads based on speculation, rumors, half truths and my buddy told me, all with no reputable source. Nothing against rumors, but lets not jump the gun and start whole threads based on hearsay. FRS is June 1st. My dealer wrote it in big black sharpie all over the FRS poster in his office. I think he's more psyched than we are.

I know what people have been saying since some time ago. This is something new I just heard this morning and wanted to see if anyone else had heard anything similar.
