First of all, its 9:50 pm on the west coast... and you're still working. I've been there and while that sucks, the customers (us) appreciate it. So thank you for that.

Any idea on a release date for a complete thermostatically controlled oil cooler? Is a thermostatically controled oil cooler on the table? I honestly may have missed its mention in the thread.

There are options available out there to make your own thermostatically controlled kit if KW were to provide the partial kit. http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/c...il_Thermostats

So which is it, a partial oil cooler kit or is it literally only the sandwich adapter?

What we heard today was that it was/is the sandwich adaptor - feel free to correct me if we are wrong.

My pre release oil cooler kit is the sandwich plate, cooler core, and hoses. Works beautifully and for those interested it has a port in the sandwich plate to add a temperature probe for a gauge. I added a Derale Remote Thermostat to mine and it was only $60 on amazon.

Could you go on summit and give us a shopping list to clone the kit using the sandwich plate by chance?

Wow, thanks. Found it for $50.69 shipped with Amazon Prime. I was looking through the Mocal ones selling for $170+.

I don't need a thermostat. LOL
220 F cruising around town, I think I'll be fine.

Looked around on Summit and damn... so many options.
I guess I'll take the car apart this weekend and see how the KW blower cooler and the IC line up to plan the biggest possible oil cooler I can fit in there.

I don't understand why these oil cooler kits are so freakin expensive for these cars...
On my 'Muricah-n cars I have trans coolers for 100 bucks for example.
And I'm talking about one that's the size of the radiator.

To keep things simple, it is not the complete kit we will be offering in the future.

This is what you will get:
Part number is 626-12-1000
Retail Price: $199.99
Fitting size: -8 AN

You can call and order them now.

Any chance there will be a shopping list of items needed for completion?

Cool!
So one could order a mishimoto kit and use it with your sandwich plate?

Also, do you have an interface print or something?
Meaning, what do I need to attach this thing?

You say -8 AN, but does that mean it comes with male fittings?
Or do we need to buy some pipe thread to 8 AN adapters?

See where I'm going with this?

Awesome looking piece though!
Definitely in. Will FTeigthysix be able to get me one of these?
