It should be lower than bills mustang... I have never seen a dyno read this low. Stock cars run 125-135 typically around 130.

Well, he stated a baseline of 130whp/113wtq.
That would mean the dyno reads at a rate of 35% loss. At the shown 281/223, that would translate to 432/343 at the crank, based on 130whp being 200hp crank. On a dynojet, that would be ~367whp (15% loss), or 354whp on a mustang (~18% loss). Approximately of course. |

Dw700 iniectors dw65c pump. I would have to check the logs to see how close this was to working in oem injectors. I did do a few pulls up to around 7200rpm on completely stock fuel system on e85 before but I don't remember if it was pushing the di time too far or not I would say it's probably on the edge of what i would push in the ever you get e90 and some very cold weather.
![]() Then again if you were to drop the redline just a hair it might be a lot more within oem fuel capacity.

Stock car reads around low to mid 130's on our mustang if I remember correctly. It's been a long time since we actually had a stock car on there. My car is back to stock for a short time for some NA parts testing so I'll get a base run if you guys care to see what a stock car makes on our mustang :P The Dyno Dynamics down at HG Motorsports we were using for awhile also reads mid 130's for a stock FR-S, BRZ. It's not uncommon for a Dyno Dynamics, Mustang, Maha, just a matter of whether you're running it in true heartbreaker mode or any sort of sim mode. We always prefer the lowest, truest reading and it looks like you do too @nelsmar

Would getting an aftermarket exhaust be a bad idea for the CARB tune kit? I'd like to add a distinctive exhaust note to my car along with other small benefits (weight savings, looks, etc)

Would you guys say that the Jackson kit is superior to the other CARB legal FI options? I am in California, and I am heavily leaning toward the JR kit. Also, on the carb legal tune it is said there is a ~70 whp increase over stock.
What is the whp increase on a non-carb legal tune/map? What is the whp increase running E85? If I buy the kit straight up as it stands + an oil cooler, will I bet set? even if I want to periodically run E85 from time-to-time? Will whp numbers change with the oil cooler as well? |

Yes, 70-75whp in full CARB trim is accurate, with zero other mods. On 91 octane? Rumor has it with supporting mods and a stock engine, you can extract plenty more With E85 and supporting mods, even higher. Get flex fuel You'll sustain the power with an oil cooler; I highly recommend it. While we're at it, I wouldn't be surprised to see 400whp+ with a built engine and the Jackson Racing kit. |

Installed my kit this weekend.
Ah-freaking-mazing. It's everything advertised and more. It is, in my opinion, now the perfect DD / Track weapon. ![]() Only small issue I had with the install, as previously stated by other owners, was bumper fitment. The pipes needed some man power to get into place, but this wasn't a big deal at all. Also, if Jackson Racing wanted to make this install completely brainless, they could create a installation guide with BOTH the oil cooler kit and SC kit steps combined. I had to flip back and forth between both kits, but just a suggestion more than a complaint. Install went very smooth.

With this kit, should I get the installer to install clamps on the vacuum lines as mentioned on some of the other threads?
