Hope you're okay. Don't know what I'd do if I was in your position. If I owed less than 50% I'd hope they total it. If still in deep and they don't total take it to the shop w/the best reputation you can find!

I don't care what anyone says, a car that's been repaired from an accident will never drive the same. Hoping for good things for you.

On the bright side, if you are somehow able to get a quote and just collect money, you can probably get a new set of nicer tail lights for free.

Repeating myself here from the other accident thread.

Make sure the insurance also covers depreciated value.

If this goes on a Carfax, you're gonna drop 2-3K at re-sale.

glad you're ok! to make you feel better, I was in a car accident a few days ago and mine was a head on collision and the front of my brz is FUBAR'ed.

It'll never be that same...was what I thought just by reading the title of the post

I've been rear ended twice in two different vehicles, and it's true, they are never the same regardless of how great a job the repair is.

If it were me, I'd be looking at trading it in, but that's just me. Every little problem, noise, or hiccup it'll ever have would have me saying: "It's because that @*&^er hit me and messed up my car..."
