What kind of "good" tire can be had for 80 bucks in 205 then?

Man, you are starting to sell me on fucking 16s.

Achilles ATR, Fed SS595, Linglong crosswind; all cheap, all available in 205/45/16. I've used all three, I like the crosswinds the best. The others are still definitely decent. I find the crosswind has more grip, and lasts the best (marginally)

We had a drift practise day last month, I had a set of crosswinds last about 80 passes, 90 minutes of constant drifting (I wouldnt drift the straight, so the car and tyres got a brief breather). Low power for the win.

No idea. Buy a container of them and sell them.

Heaps of drift guys run them here. Not because they're sponsored, because they work.

They're chang, but they are better than a lot of brand name tyres, and I'm not just talknig about drifting, I mean in general.

I just ordered two for the Audi which is my daily. I think that highly of them.

I think I may just roll with the 18s for now and decide on the 16s later.

Yeah go the 18s. I still can't commit to the 16s myself, makes my car pretty low, which sucks for street use.

My 225's rub on the swaybar, but still give decent lock up until that point. 235's will rub sooner, so less lock. Ditto 245, ditoo 255.

Gotcha. I think I missed the tie rod part.

Wisdom? ok...

If you're going with 225 tyres then 9" wheels are way too wide. 7.5" wheels are good with 225 tyres.
That stretched look is discouraged by both tyre manufacturers and wheel manufacturers, because it is unsafe. It also looks stupid.

There, I've said it.
I expect to be banned from this forum and/or burned at the stake for this, but it was worth it.

I ordered my 255/35/18's and I'll post pics with them on my car as soon as the wheels come in.. I'll be raising the car up some more, which I'm sure probably won't fit in
