What's so bad about it? Technically and visually... I'm all about black or white when buying my FR-S. Went with Whiteout because that's the one they have in stock. Sales guy told me about the extra cost and mentioned it being a "Lexus color"...

It's the most obvious color on all the twins to see the difference of color between the bumpers and the body. Besides that, nice color.

?????
Whiteout is the best color, by far. In all honesty compared to the other paints I have seen on our cars I think the whiteout is actually a better coat of paint quality wise. Since there are 2 color coats the paint seems to be a little thicker than the other colors. I guess the worst part about our color is its harder to get perfect matches on the plastic bumpers compared to the metal areas of the car. |

I think white should be reserved for commercial vehicles in general, but honestly, the Whiteout isn't that bad.

White cars can pull off almost anything in terms of cosmetic mods.

I have a Dark Grey BRZ, and my friend bought one in Satin White. It looks really damn good.
What about the color is worrying you so much? Are you just paranoid it's ugly or are you more worried about maintenance, scratches, etc? All Subaru paint is thin, just take good care of it and expect a few nicks here and there, especially around the front end. |

CLEAR BRA IT BRAH!
Yes, I know I'm screaming but that's for anyone getting a 86. Daily driving pounds the hell out of our fascia.

I have only gotten compliments on the color. Its beauty can only be appreciated on a hot sunny day, when the glare of a 1,000 pearls hits you in the eyes. Its like angels came down from the heavens and showered you with love.

My understanding is that whiteout FRSs go through the paint booth twice, hence the extra cost.
