I think we are all anxiously waiting, I just hope we are big enough of a group to hit Shiv's radar.

Honestly haven't seen much from shiv lately. He is for sure busy though. The ESC market is certainly gaining speed. There is 20 people with FRS, new kits for miata and I heard shiv is putting one in a Lotus Elise. I haven't heard of anyone running the ESC with anything other than OFT in the last while

Nlowell do you know if you needed a specialized tune for OFH? I got mine this week and am looking to install it soon.

Thanks

Garage
Installed! I called my buddy and went over and used his garage since it was raining. Everything went smoothly and it seems to be working properly. Now I just need the tune (its on the way) and figure out where to put the arming switch.

The install is amazingly clean. It funny how many thing just worked out perfectly. Need somewhere to mount the control box? Here is a hole where you can bolt it to the chassis. Need to run the wires through the firewall? Well, we are removing the sound tube anyways so here is a convenient opening to run the wires through.

The throttle switch was the biggest question mark for me. Even after reading things for a year and looking at many pictures I couldn't quite see how that bracket worked. But once I got under there it was immediately obvious and done in about 30 seconds. And again...need somewhere to attach the bracket for the switch? Here is a bolt in exactly the right spot for you to use.

It was dark and still raining when we were done, so I didn't get to play with it much, but I gave it a couple shots on the way home. Sweet. Nearly lost it when the back end broke loose on the first boost (I had the traction control turned off). Heh.

Hope its warm and sunny tomorrow so I can get out and "condition the batteries". Also looking forward to showing it off to other FR-S owners this weekend at the meet.

Remember without a tune activate the esc at around 4500 rpms at the earliest.

But have fun!

I've also pinged Shiv about E85 tunes, but haven't heard much back. He might still be a little bit in honeymoon mode. Can't say I blame him
