They do appear to lose grip after being heat cycled through 6 track days but I'm still happy with them and will buy a new set when the next track season starts up in October.
I suppose that since you're in SD, you can't comment on wet traction, either.

I spent a week in SD 15 years ago. Wow. Weatherman there has got to be the easiest job in the world. "What's the weather like?" "Nice". (credit to comedian Lewis Black).

Nice looking hood ... where did you get it ? Whats the ticket on this thing ? Also , will you color match it ... I have seen so many CF hoods ruined due to improper UV protection ... I think for its longevity, you should get it painted body color.

Also, do those vents manage rain water so it does not get into the engine bay ?

Here's my thread on that: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65582

The hood comes with a rain adapter that funnels the water under the hood to two drain points which don't protect water from coming into the engine compartment but do stop it from shooting directly onto the engine.

The mailman brought me a present today.

I got the 1.5 battery pack assembled, but I can't install it because its raining.
(I don't have a garage). Also waiting on shiv for the tune.

Super impressed with the kit so far. Design and quality is all top notch.

Nice vented hood. Did you have that installed when you were at the willow this past weekend?

In case anyone was wondering I finally got the reprogrammed controller and harness installed and everything is working great so far. So now it's time for the 1.5 conversion!

Welcome aboard! How did you end up doing the venting for the prova vents? And was the price ridiculous for the vents?
