Quoting myself but I guess if anything the hose would maybe need to be shorter. The Racer-X return is at the very top of the front of the pan offset a little right when looking at the car from the front. It's going to be a little interesting routing though because the belts are right there.

Here is a pic of the installed oil pan:

In other news the rest of my parts arrived today! It's funny looking at the IC piping because there isn't anything to it. I'm used to the standard WRX FMIC kits with a mile of piping and junctions...

My kit is coming along. All dummy'd up. Exhaust tomorrow.

Didn't come with any coolant lines or fittings. Sigh.

Thanks.

They're 18x9 +35 work meister s1r, 225/40/18 nitto Invos.

I pined over wheels specs (and went through a lot of wheels) to work out the right "stance" and height I wanted. At this height I feel I haven't compromised on handling to achieve a certain look. My roll centres are about where an oem setup less 10mm would be (have corrected both front and rear roll centres) That's why my car stays quite flat while sliding.

I can get 255s on these wheels and still not rub. I probably won't though. It has a lot of grip now, and I want to be "chuckable" anyway. Plus 225 tyres are a lot cheaper than 255s.

Good choice lookwise and the size is spot on. Funnily enough they're exactly the same size and offset of the 720 form gtf2's I've ordered. No rubbing anywhere?

Nope, well not really. They only rub under full lock, but my lock is more than stock. Stock lock they didn't rub.

I was wondering if this kit had a list of approved tuners or if anyone knew any good tuners on the east coast? I'm in N.C. and the 3 places I've called with a dyno say they have yet to touch an Fr-S. I see Delicious Tuning and JamesM pop up alot in the thread, is anyone running their e-tunes with this kit?

How did that go btw? I saw Chris posted the car on fb, but I didn't want to ask someone who wasn't the owner details about the car.. I'm in the market for building another toy and I was debating on building my FR-S. Just not too sure if it would be worth it though.
