Hmm...don't know where you find those numbers but on my end spring rates shows up as F:8k R:9k

I clicked this Tein's product matrix from above.

Next I clicked on mono sport

Then lineups click here

Finally I clicked the photo beside BRZ.

But I was wrong, those specs were for the stech springs. Why clicking a link professing to be a picture of the monoflex kit would bring me to the specs for the stech spring is beyond me.

I like the Japan price better. If they'd been out a bit sooner I could have picked some up

We do too, but transporting them here isn't free and it's not a mass produced product of Chinese origin...

I think I was quoted about $300 less than the US msrp.
I'll be back there in October probably! I need to figure out what else to get while I'm there.

Any updates @CSG Mike , @CSG David ?

I'm still interested in hearing more about these. Not just one liners

Could you at least humor us with a tentative release date?

Feel free to PM.

IIRC it should be within the next 4 weeks; it depends on when the container makes it through the port, so it's +- 2 weeks.

Essentially, this is an updated Monoflex, that uses newer components, and also comes in at a lower price point due to the exchange rate with the Yen being more favorable now.

The damper curves are a reflection of the feedback based on the Monoflex, and are designed for more street comfort without compromising performance. Additionally the range of adjustment has been increased to accommodate a larger range of spring rates, and some crosstalk has been intentionally engineered in to allow simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment

Hi Mike,

Would you recommend and increased travel rear top mount like the Robispec or Raceseng top mounts for these? Or are the provided rear mounts sufficient for occasional (1x e/o month) track duty at circuits like Buttonwillow & Big Willow?

Thanks Mike.

Basically I'm wanting to know your public opinion on these as being a good fit for a car like mine and a driver like me seeking a good value coilover with good street-ability and good track-ability. I really like the idea of turning one knob for simultaneous C&R adjustment over a wide range. I am not a suspension tuning expert and I'd really prefer the ease of adjustment that the Mono Sport has over a two-way adjustable damper.

I also really like the included camber adjustable top mounts on the fronts; two less things to worry about buying separately. I can't find anything wrong with these for my application and so I'm really excited about them. The EDCS compatibility sounds like icing on the cake.

If you're going to be dropping the car a lot, YES!

The dampers are designed to be used on the stock mount points, but adding more compression travel can help if you're lower than intended. Keep in mind that this comes at the cost of droop travel, but that can be mostly mitigated with a clutch type LSD (OSG, Cusco, Kaaz)

How well suited these are for you will depend on how fast you're driving around the track, and if you're using the berms aggressively or not.
