That was going to be my next question. I'm looking for a little bit of a stretch not a whole lot what size tire would give me a decent stretch on a 8 inch rim? Also how much camber would I need?

Im looking at doing a set up in


18x9.5 ET 35 with somewhere between a 245-265/35/18


I will be running coilovers and will accept some negative camber.


Looking for an "aggressive but functional set up" I've seen Jive Turkeys set up with 18x9.5 ET 40 265/35/18....is there room to get an extra 5mm of offset in there without too much issue.


Im open to fender rolling. but no pulling.

Give it a try. Worst case, it'll rub on suspension and you'll be forced to run a small spacer, perhaps 3-5mm. It will be close, but should work.

You won't be able to lower the car much though, you'll have to run your coilovers at close to stock height. It'll be functional

I've run both Falken Azenis FK453 and Azenis RT615K in the 265/35-18 size. My wheels are also 18x9.5 +38. It is a very aggressive fit but will work.

At stock height, you won't rub. Lowered ~1.5", you will need a moderate fender roll in the rear and a small amount of negative camber adjustment in the front. Lowered ~2-2.5", the rear will need a very aggressive roll. The front won't need more camber but will have a very slight rub on hard cornering.

A 255/35-18 will make your life a bit easier, but I'd still go with the 265 if I were you

I recommend coilovers, but either setup (255/265) will clear stock suspension.

The stock 215/45/17 tire size should work great for what you're looking for. It'll give you a little stretch but nothing major.

Sorry, but I'm not too sure what you'll need as far as camber. I don't have much experience with your wheel specs. Based on what I do know, you will need minimal camber adjustment, but you will need it on all four corners. Camber adjustable front top hats and rear lower control arms should be enough.

Got some 18x8.5 +27 and 18x9.5 +26. Plan on getting some KW v3 and lowering to close the wheel gap, but not slam. Will I need a lot of camber? LCA? Camber bolts? etc. Looking to get everything purchased before installing and getting an alignment. Thanks!

A 245/35-18 will fit no problem, but is not enough tire IMO.

A 255/35-18 will fit will minimal camber adjustments, front and rear. The fenders rear will need to be rolled, how much depends on how low you want to go.

A 265/35-18 will fit, but it'll need ~3-3.25 degrees of negative camber on all four corners and an aggressive roll in the rear.

You would achieve the best fitment with a 38-37 offset.

Oh yeah, should've added I was looking for tire options too. They're on 205/40 and 215/40 right now, but I want to put as meaty as a tire as possible. I was thinking maybe 215 front and 235 rear, but test fitting it on a stock suspension last weekend, I'm not sure that would work without ridiculous camber...

I run 18x9.5e38 with 255/35/18s dropped 1.5 inches with no camber in the fronts and negative 1.6 degrees in the rears with no fender roll and no rub. My fronts sit 3mm from the spring perch.

So the answer is they fit just fine.

I'm looking to get 18" Work Meister S1's. I am going to be lowering my car at LEAST 1-1/2". I would like to get it "Flush" more than having it poke out and look odd. Can someone please help me with what offsets I should get for front and rear? THANK YOU!!

Which offset to go with

So after looking around I had a change of heart from the bbs' don't really want to put that much into a lease. I'm currently looking at a pair of work xd9s 18x8. I had read here that +34 would make me flush but I was playing around on the auto fitment calculator here and the +35 option looks to be a little tucked still it looks like the +28 option would make it flush. Also I plan on lowering on h&r super sports -1.2f and -1.6r drop

I was looking at wheels, my car is lowered about 1in 1/2 all around, the wheels im looking at are 18x9.5 with either +30 or +38 offset, which one would give me a better flush fitment? Should i go +30 in front +38 in back? Vice versa? Let me know, thanks.

Perhaps it's a camber and fitment question, but currently I have 17x8 +48's on stock Michelin 215 Primarcy's up front.

I want to go up to 235/40, but am concerned about rubbing with -1 or -1.5 camber on stock suspension. It appears that this is OK, but bumping my question anyhow.
