Final Drive and speedometer question

I want to change the stock 4.10 FD for a Mfactory 4.67FD sold by ft86 speed factory, and i just want some confirmation.
I've searched the forum and from what I've gathered, the frs doesn't get its speedometer reading from the transmission but instead gets its from the wheels, so..
If i were swap to the 4.67 i shouldn't have to worry right?the speedometer should still read correctly?

Thanks in advance

does anyone know where or IF there's a taller 6th gear set that i could buy? for MT

also: since the transmission is made by Subaru, if there's any known possiblity of interchangeable gears from other Subaru trannys.

The transmission is NOT made by Subaru so the answer to your question is "no." The twins' transmission is made by Aisin.

if that's the case then NVM.

I was hoping to that the FRS might share some similar size gear but with different ratio with other cars so i could have a taller gear swapped in for my 6th gear.

You can probably get a racing transmission shop to make you a longer 6th gear.
