It's a limited production car that was offered with unique options. I don't see why that wouldn't be considered a special edition. Plus there were less Monogram cars made compared to the 10 Series.

Heck, I'm glad the values haven't held. I picked up my 13 used for 19.2k out the door, CPO, perfect shape, 13k miles and better than perfect maintenance record without a single warranty issue. I know the dealer couldn't have made much unless the previous owner really got hosed on trade-in. It probably helped that it was Hot Lava (my preference, but otherwise, the least popular color).
For the past 5 years or so, I've only been buying vehicles a year or two old to save that initial hit. I guess my cheapness has finally surpassed my need to have vehicles when they first come out. Maybe this means I'm finally growing up! ![]() Of course, I have no expectations that this will hold it's value anywhere near as well as my FJ, but at least I've skipped the initial hit. |

Problem with a 34.5k mileage car is warranty is almost gone. On a car with a history of problems (especially the early production in the 13s) that can be a bit of a turn-off and risk for the new owner.

If you goto the monogram page they say 2000 units total...nothing about special edition...its just another model of the car. Sure it should have a little better pricing due to options standard to the car but its not a special edition. Its like the smokey and the bandit edition trans am and the trans am...the trans am is the higher level firebird but its not a special edition....does that make sense? Its not like they wont make monograms next year...the 10series wont be made again and theyre numbered.

without TTL $15,600 KBB suggested as of today with 18,500 miles and a touch over one year in… $20,957 It better stop dropping soon, or I'm going to hit that $15k mark pretty damn fast and well before the 3 year mark (I've always heard 4 to hit the 60% mark, truthfully). At this point, I would be pretty happy with a $15k price at 4 years in |

fwiw though.. my FJ cruiser in 2008 - 30k sticker, 27k OTD TTL. 6 years later, has 70k miles and is worth nearly 20k. Maybe should have bought or buy an FJ if you are worried about depreciation
