Actually I just saw in another thread (http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31690) that there is an ECU setting which will keep the DRLs on with headlights. If that is the case, you can just wire the DRL to the LED, and they would stay on. Dealership should be able to change the setting for you, or you can do it yourself with a techstream.

Just ordered techstream. Doesn't the frs come with the drl setting ion from factory?

It does come from the factory with it on. However, I plugged my tech stream in yesterday to look and see if there was an option to keep it on with headlights. There is a straight up on/off setting, and thereI were illumination settings that said normal, dark 1, dark2, light 1 or light2. I'm not sure what those do, so I cannot confirm if that will work or not (it's always useful to have a tech stream anyway though). However, I have read elsewhere that he LED is too bright at night and should be dimmed anyway if used with headlights. So, I think your best option is to wire with the DRL power as previously described (you don't use the parking voltage wire). Then use a resistor connected from the low beam power to the LED to light it up at a reduced power when the headlights are on. See this thread http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44066, there is someone who makes and sells a resistor just for this purpose. This is for people who have 10series/monograms already, but it should work just the same with a regular FRS with 10 series lights installed, if you are using the DRL power source.
