Could you show to us? Then you will probably inform users correctly.

I want to understand what is the difference between an solid and an hollow bar.

I don't think it's enough big to really see the difference on the street and also maybe on a race track. I mean the difference between the 2 bar types.

I am pretty sure if you try both, hollow and rigid, you will probably not see any differences. It's only about how much the bar are more stiffness then the oem. Example, if you have the same % of stiffness between an hollow and an rigid bar then this is the same thing.

We say the same thing

I just want to say, look at the % of stiffness you want to add on your car and make your choice from this.

http://www.me.mtu.edu/~mavable/Book/Chap5.pdf

pdf warning

it has all the mechanics of materials and kinematic information you need to develop the proof yourself. FYI: your "engineering" friend is an absolute moron.

sincerely,

a mechanical engineer

There is no problem on your side. You asked for an explaination and I provided.

Im making the statement your engineering friend is incredibly ignorant with mechanics and kinematics and should never be referenced for this topic again.

Im assuming you edited it because you were lying about legitimately talking to anyone about it.

Sway bar option list

I don't lie, I just modified it because maybe we are wrong that's it!

Anyway, the goal of this discussion is to regroup all available sway bars.
