http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...ductId=2062214 But you are going to need one rca to male headphone adapter for this. Plus you can get it right now, and return it easily if it does not work. Reviews are great for this and it does not look like it affects sound quality. Next up is this bad boy: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/PAC-Ground-Isolator-3-5-Applications/dp/B001EAQTRI/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top"]Amazon.com: PAC Ground Loop Isolator for 3.5 MM Applications: Automotive[/ame] Cheap. Good reviews, but a few people complained it reduced sound quality. Not sure if this is true.

Actually the remote can do it. Hence the reason for the adruino. It's just series of key hits to make the nexus connect to the headunit.

Is this a recent improvement? When I did my tablet install back in November/December, every source I found said you had to press the button on the head unit itself for the Sony units.

Actually you can but it does get messy if you don't hit the right series of buttons. (It requires a down and right I believe) so you would need to be good at doing it right every time.

Although, it's incredibly stupid of Sony to require a physical button press for something like this in the first place.

JVC Smart Music Control
To connect to your head unit, you need to go into 'Media', then bring up the menu, click 'Connect' then select your head unit (JVC Unit). A toast message should come up saying 'Connected to car receiver' or something. Then you can use the gestures to control your head unit. TBH its a pretty shitty app, but at least I can control my head unit through it |
