Drag DR-31 17x9 ET 28 with 245/40/17s - bad idea?
What up.
New member here. Awesome forum, lots of good info, have read a ton of valuable info while waiting for my activation ![]() Time for questions. They are not called out in your guys' fitment matrix, so I figured I'd ask. Anyone running Drag DR31s in 17x9 et 28 with 245 45 17s? Based on the (quite impressive) fitment calculator app you guys have in the stickies, they should fit with a 1" drop and 2 degrees of front camber. I am looking for a functional setup. Something that gives the car more grip (especially in the front), not a show car type setup. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated. |

I have weds 17x9 (35) offset with 245/40/17 mpss tires at -1.5" lower then stock approx. -2 camber all around. Could go -1.7 front and -1.4 camber back no problem, which I intend to. At +7 more poke at only inch lower you should clear at -2 yes. Front of course pay attn though as top side goes outward under compression.

That's good news!
Any idea what the max front camber with Megan street coils is by chance? |

Off topic a tad but one thing I've learned from various cars is make sure to buy best suspension bits you can or your back will regret it and the girlfriend/wife will also not be pleased to ride along.

Cam bolts are something I always try to avoid when possible, but will probably order some as backup - just in case.
Thanks man! |

Read through this thread. He has +30 17x9's. He only has a 215 streched and maxed out camber. +28 will be 2mm farther outside the fender. |

That thread actually was what gave me hope that the 28s with "real tires" would work.
