You're right... I hope it's not grey here. I like the black. And I don't like that fake carbon fiber either. I know lots of people complained about the first dash because it looked like fake carbon fiber but that's only because they didn't realize it was actually the same "T" theme that the rest of the car used. Now IT REALLY IS fake carbon fiber... LOL. And frankly, I'm not a fan of shark fin antennas on this car either. I like the antenna to be as low profile as possible so the standard black box with the antenna removed was fine.

Sigh... so aside from the potential minor suspension/damper improvements, they've actually made the car worse. I guess I shouldn't be surprised...

Obviously we can't judge it completely yet, but I feel like it won't be better or worse. But they know they needed to release a statement with at least something that sounded different

Seems like mild updates, but I'd be interested to see what "more rigid fixation of the front suspension" means. Perhaps they reinforced the mounting points?

It's likely just those two slightly thicker bolts. Extremely minor upgrades which you can later buy for your current vehicle.

I don't think it's grey, I think it's just the lighting. They usually use REALLY bright white lights to take these pictures and those white lights probably made it look grey. You can see the shadows are still black

Looks like they used different bolts for the front subframe and the rear lower control arm.

TL;DR no big deal for any current FT86 owners

I'd be super pissed if they had shockingly introduced a 5x114 version

Notice the roof interior has light grey color instead of dark black.
