The way I see it:
  1. The sound.
  2. The quality/durability/craftsmanship.
  3. The weight.
  4. The looks.

That's because it's an OEM part and as such, it needs to meet noise level regulations.

I rather prefer it especially if it decreases weight, improves HP/TQ, and maybe fuel economy. Don't need it to be louder then stock maybe slightly but not like fart cans or obnoxiously loud especially the drone.

I'm in full agreement with you, I just want a unique sound. After seeing what Password JDM did with the boring GT-R exhaust sound, I have faith that somebody will come up with something unique. Password JDM has confirmed that they're developing an exhaust for this car, so I'm actually really optimistic that they will make this car sound sick.

3" might be too much unless its a single exit exhaust. Although it will be significantly lighter so for those thinking about going FI, this is the way to go

off course single it be way heavy and way to much to have 3" all around with a dual exit. I Thought dual exhausts have no advantages over single exit?

I appreciate it guys, and keep the information coming! (i also agree that the TRD exhaust sounds a bit boring)

Me personally, i wouldn't even feel comfortable designing an exhaust that didnt: Make power, Sound good, and was built to last. Being lightweight and having a reasonable noise level are also great points (3in on an NA car is LOUD, but that's a preference too). Cost is also something that should be considered (how much is too much).

Like i said, i like what I'm hearing so far, so keep your preferences coming!

Yum! Fujitsubo has always sounded good!

Anyone know of any titanium exhausts that sound mean on boxer engines?

That Fujitsubo doesn't sound bad, but how much weight are you saving is the question...

My order of preference is craftmanship, then sound, then weight, then looks. And I'll never buy a burnt tip Ti exhaust.

Eh, the fujitsubo sounds decent, I'd take it over the TRD one, I'd buy it if there weren't any better options. Still looking for something with a unique sound!

It looks like a little over 6lbs, per those links above you.

A Ti Single would probably save about 20+lbs, but would be very loud and expensive.

A conservative weight loss with a dual exhaust, CAI, and header would be probably around 20lbs.
