I like reading about the sweet deals everyone gets. Its a nice change of pace.
Man, we definitely come from different worlds. I have trouble giving up cars. I couldn't sell my FJ and currently can't imagine selling my fr-s (if ever)

You can tell you like switching cars often.. You went from a '13 to a '13 lol (albeit a car that's been sitting on the lot for 8+ months)

Congrats and welcome!

Made the same rout @M3_Dust….just added one more ford in the mix.

Cobra to E46 M3, back to Cobra, to FRS. This is the first car I haven't gotten bored of in a year!

Congrats on the purchase and looking forward to having you here (as well as on M3forums).

I have a funny feeling you are going to fall in love. I was shocked when I did, especially since the car is so damn slow

haha yeah I actually had the Mustang for just about 2 years, I ordered it right when they started production in March of 2012 and took delivery April 28, I just sold it a week ago, it was actually hindering me from making the deal on this car two weeks earlier since the dealer only wanted to give me 23.5k for trade and I sold it for 29k

I know its a new car to me, but I find myself making up excuses to go driving the FRS and never did that with the M3. Get all types of when I go driving.

I dont know I was raised strictly on the belief from my father that only buy something you are 100% sure you are gona keep for a long time (unless crashed total loss, theft or old age) reason for that is even though the Fr-S is priced nicely for most consumers to buy for a sports car 25k is still a lot of money regardless and you only make so much money in your lifetime unless you won the lottery or got an awesome job.

So ya I do like the lower monthly payments via leasing but I spent about a year thinking on whether I should or shouldn't buy this car and after thinking for so long I have no regrets even if they came out with an even better version of the FR-S or another sports car in the future. I am keeping this until it rots to death or reaches insane mileage years from now. just my imho

on a side note the tints look fresh on these cars

this car is one of the few modern cars that is a great choice for a long-term keeper, you will get years and years of use and hundreds of thousands of miles out of it
