Going to SoCal's Buttonwillow sure does make one appreciate how good we have it @ NorCal tracks.

CSG_Mike will be available for coaching at Buttonwillow this coming Sunday. PM me if you want details. It's worth the investment as he will share his driving techniques, track tips, when/where/what about the track with you, in your car or his, you as the passenger or driver.

I've had the pleasure in both as the driver and passenger with Mike and I can say, you have to listen and watch him well. Your full attention will span from what you're seeing to what's he saying and you'll wonder how's he doing this. Trade spots and he will talk you thru the motions, as all very experienced drivers should. You will gain the confidence you can grow on with Mike as your instructor.

This 86 community is awesome in that there are so many great drivers around. Some very willing to share their experiences and teach the lesser more. Take advantage of these individuals!

Is was my first time at Buttonwillow. I went there with fear not knowing how this track is. I did both days. Got the hang of the track fairy quick. The track was super fun! Loved it even tho I spun out twice on the 2nd day trying to beat my last time

im really looking forward to Thunderhill in June now. This is too addicting!!

damn, wish i saw this map earlier. wouldve saved me a day of learning the track. sunday was real nice, lot less crowded.

solo white. was number 86 but wasn't in my frs. took miata instead. we were setup on the side of the tire shop.
