Never take their first offer, and honestly, I would keep fighting them. It's not your fault their client acted like a moron and trashed your car.
Much luck to you.

I'm assuming the car was totaled? I hope for your sake it is.... that car will never drive the same.

That's BS on the insurance companies part. You should get enough to buy another 2014 model BRZ. I would lawyer up man, don't let his insurance company lowball you like that.

So so happy! Got my new one today, and insurance finally decided to give me a more reasonable number, so today is a good day.

Already got the 35% tint done. Fortunately I have no need to open the windows right now since the pollen is terrible.

Awesome! Congrats! I'm glad it all worked out for you.
Are you going to do anything different the second time around, or keep it all stock?

Thanks!

I'm not sure what all, if anything, I will do to it. I've never modded any of my previous cars before but had considered it. I'm still recovering from how quickly I lost my last one so I'm kinda shaky to spend any additional money on it, but if anything, I'll do the shark fin antenna and maybe change out the exhaust. I quite like the wheels though, so that won't be changing.

Glad you're OK OP.

In my situation I would've used a lawyer and milked the F out of him.

I have not read this thread until today, but I'm very glad that it worked out for the better for you. No injuries, and a brand new BRZ to replace the totaled one.

Glad everyone is okay first of all. And you got your baby replaced. Is that a brand new BRZ?
