Well I'm glad you had a good time with our Babies. Once you get into going sideways you'll forget all about the land yatchs that you were used to. I don't know about Central PA but take the FR-S to some of the rocky twisty area's new york has and roll with the VCU sport mode on. It'll change your life.

You'd be surprised how many people might go buy the car believing that and then come on here and bitch about their poor mpg and being misled. We've already seen it happen.

Would have been a better answer for him to say he was just exaggerating than trying to win the internet.

I would still commute mostly with the Prius. It takes 2+ hours to get home, so something a little more exciting would be nice

My commute might be a lot shorter than yours (~45 min through city) but its damn fun with a twin

Okay...what do you guys think...
Here is where I am
(1) FRS 22k but with a 1k rebate, so I'm assuming that means 21lk at 1.9% financing, 60 months (?)
(2) Camaro- $21,240 with 0% for 72 months
(3) BRZ- $23,800, but with Navigation and spoiler (I could care less about the spoiler, but the car has like 2k in options), with 0% financing for 63 month

I have no sense of direction and love having the Navigation built into the car. I don't want a Garman thing on the window since I don't like my vision obstructed like that (my husband puts his phone on the window and keeps the traffic open, it drives me crazy, I can't see like that). Is the BRZ navigation better than the bespoke thing that Scion has?

The BRZ is white, the FRS is black, I would prefer the black one. White is okay though.

The Camaro has the lowest payment. I drove it and it was easier to handle, but not nearly as much fun as the FRS. I will need to get used to the clutch, but I have another car to drive, this won't become an instant daily driver, so no big deal.

Opinions? Thanks guys!!

I mean...is it so hard to understand what I typed? seems like a pretty simple statement to me...

trying to win the internet? there was no exaggerating in my statement to begin with. driving as hard as I possibly could. the car averaged 25.5mpg throughout 3 tanks of gas. seems to me...like YOUR "trying to win the internet." I mean, seriously... if you cant understand my statement, theres bigger things in life.

by your statement, everyone with that fuelly thing in their signature, should remove it. what if someone saw a hypermilers and then complained they didn't get the same mpg.

pretty sure the nav modules are the same(don't quote me 100% on that) between the two cars. it honestly all comes down to what you prefer. if it was my choice, I would take the frs for a few reasons:
1) its more fun to drive to me, cars should be fun.
2) I get great gas mileage and costs very minimal for me to fill up(personal opinion of course)
3) I enjoy the styling of a small lightweight car more than I do a bigger car
4) I already have a "fast" car, so speed wasn't an selling point for me.

To my knowledge the bespoke thing is really just a hookup with an iphone app, not true onboard built in navigation:

http://a230.g.akamai.net/7/230/83646...lity_Chart.pdf

If you don't have one of the iphones listed in the above you cannot use the bespoke unit for navigation like you would imagine an onboard nav to work. The voice instructions can go through bluetooth but it sounds like you want a visual map in your eyesight.

If you want built in navigation, get the BRZ.

Edit: Here's the official Scion page on bespoke, realize that navigation is lumped under the iphone app, no iphone app no navigation.
http://www.scion.com/BeSpoke/features/

Edit 2: There's a member below claiming navigation works on his 10 series with Bespoke without a smartphone app. I'm not sure if the head unit for the 10 series is different from the one in the standard model. The only definitive answer is to try it at the dealership.

So the BRZ navigation isn't bespoke? Would it be like a regular navigation unit like on my Prius?

Yeah, just no idea where I am. It's a party on my bike, I have to sit there and mapquest everything before I go. You can mount a navigation unit on a mc, which I might do this summer.

I am leaning towards the FRS/BRZ instead of the Camaro. I like the looks of the Camaro, but the inside isn't great and it's like your being swallowed by it. The FRS is small, but I love how it reminds me of my Camaros/TAs from the '80s, just a bare minimum sports car inside. The Camaro is plush almost, weird. I felt like I was driving a Cadillac.

On one of my cars, I have this plaque thing mounted that says, "sit down, shut up, hold on." That's what the FRS reminded me of. It needs one too.

I afraid that you are mistaken. I have the BeSpoke in my FRS and the navigation works fine without a smartphone in the car. It has its own satellite GPS system.

You got a "cruiser" or sport bike? When I had my gsxr I actually used the basic "window mount" for cars. It suctioned onto the triple tree then ran two big zip ties around it to hold it lol. Wasn't exactly "pretty" but worked and was cheaper than the mc designed mount at the time.
