Did you ever resolve this?? I got a Kingston Data Traveler 100 G3 32GB and it doesn't see it either. It just doesn't even seem to detect that there is a USB in the car.... How do I fix that?!

This Kingson DT 108 (8 GBs) does not connect:

I get a 'BTA does not connect' something or other message.

What happens if it didn't show me any message at all? It just simply doesn't highlight USB as an option (I have a touchscreen). I don't know how to fix this!

Is there a program to sync my itunes playlists into folders on the USB drive? I like it but wouldn't want to spend time organized folders for playlists and such.

I also have a problem with the car detecting that I have music on my phone (connected through bluetooth). For some reason, even though I do have music on my phone, it doesn't show up at all if I choose to play bluetooth audio.

Anyone know what I can do about this?? OR my USB detection problem?!

I'm becoming frustrated. I just picked up this car YESTERDAY and already I can't get the audio going, PLUS, my trunk won't open (with the button, the remote, OR the mechanical key).

iPhone or android? My iphone has worked flawlessly in two frs'. My buddies android will NOT work in either frs. I believe the radio is coded better for iPhones Bluetooth signal.

Android... But as an update I finally got my trunk open, and the car suddenly started detecting the songs on my phone... Plus I tried a different USB and it works!

Be aware that a failed USB stick can cause the head unit to reset itself, requiring re-entry of startup values. This happened to me three times in ten minutes before I realized what was causing it and removed the USB stick.

It was an 8 GB SanDisk that failed, but I suspect that the earlier post was right about poor reliability in this form factor.
