Sorry, I knew were listing other posters reasons for complaining, did not to mean to imply you were complaining...

Ive noticed this as well, i see more of the younger market in Z's, Stangs, and Mazdas... not as much scion (via my dallas demographic)
Though scion may have INTENDED to appeal to the younger market, from what ive seen it really hasnt gone over as much they'd have liked |

Also if you watch real carefully at 00:22 or so, you can see the shift pattern on the shifter and no paddles on the steering wheel.

Its pretty common on motorcycles, not surprised to see it start to show up on cars.

IMO Scion was marketed to the tuner crowd.
It just so happens that the tuner crowd has since outgrew Scion since its inception (why do you think its been stagnating for awhile now? Having long in the tooth cars dont help either....), and the new generation younger demographic doesnt care about tuner cars....... |

if that was the case i wouldnt still be seeing tricked out honda's and hearing coffee can exhaust. I have a friend who just bought an exhaust tip for his mazda 6 -___-But then again i could see you saying that as most "tuner" cars are being phased out of the world.. depending on your definition of "tuner". |

This is simply untrue and unfounded. It assumes that everyone has the same taste in cars. I know an 80yr old guy with an oxygen tank to breathe with, that drove a Scion xA. The other thing is, your hypothetical situation has never existed a day on this planet (same car, looks the same, same price and is across 3 brands). |

Average age of new Scion buyers is 39 (which is the lowest in the industry), Toyota is something like 62.
I have no problems with Scion as a brand. The FR-S is no less a Toyota sports car then the LFA. They bring their history, expertise, and unique sensibility to the car regardless of brand. Yes, some people are brand snobs, that's obvious from some of the comments on these forums, but then again some people also can see the forest for the trees, and recognize the greatness of a car regardless of the badge on the front. I hope the car's successful, but regardless I will be getting mine while I can with a Scion badge on the front. |

He clearly said Most. Which is unfounded as well. Most only on this forum might have some weight to it, but this is but one forum, not the entire buying demographic. |
