Dealerships also won't take trades that are salvage/rebuilt, so the people have to resort to Craigs list, or some other sales medium to get rid of the car. D

Don't get me wrong, I've bought really good used cars on CL, it's just you have to sift through a ton of shit to find that one elusive diamond. You can also get raped from Craigs list, so be wise.

Those of us who do drive decently and smartly more often than not are actually rare. I can't say I'm perfect though because I've done my fair share of stupidness too but got lucky.

Oh, it's the drivers. No driver, no crash. More specifically, the part where - most of the time it's - males are interested in speed, being the fastest and having a cool car, but are not interested in receiving any form of driver tuition, no interest in how to drive properly and safely in traffic, no interest in driving techniques unless it makes you look cool.

The best driver is the one that knows they WILL make mistakes. That know they aren't always at the top of their game. That know that your racing pedigree doesn't matter if you make a mistake - it is here and now that counts, PAY ATTENTION! That know that good car control is not the same as being a good driver. That know you always need margin for error - your own error and others errors. That know that speed both enlarge errors - a lot - and multiplies the consequences of errors enormously.

Pick your place and time. Pick your speed conciously. Don't make one time exceptions - "watch this!".

DO YOUR RACING ON THE TRACK

I love driving and the twins are the perfect tool for that. That's all folks.

Edit: which of course doesn't exclude the possibility it was the other driver's fault - just don't blame the other all the time
