But truth be known... for me - I'd drive it like I stole it. At the end of the day... its just a clutch
Good advice, just curious, I've been strictly limiting myself to shifting below 4k, is this unnecessarily babying it?

RPM won't matter when the clutch is fully engaged... if it's slipping under load you have a bigger problem than breaking it in properly.

Just hold off on really hard shifts for the first couple hundred miles and you'll be fine.

Drive it normally, but don't do lots of slipping (using the clutch and gas to hold yourself on a hill, drag racing, etc...)

Limit clutch slip and avoid burning it.

Took my 22 month old FR-S in yesterday for squeak diagnosis and is throw-out bearing that needs replacing. Covered under 5 year 60K mile Powertrain warranty. I always put the car in neutral at lights and don't ride the clutch, in fact, my 93' Lexus SC300 5 speed made it to 110K mile before needing a new clutch. I'll update when work complete, but this isn't good for a car with 24K on it.

heat cycle it a few times with some city driving. it just stabilizes the friction of the surface. I'd say closer to 50 than 500 miles.
