I don't think carbon ceramic rotors rust, maybe that's the solution.

There's a real product that prevents rust from forming during car washes. There is a very real market for this type of product, and it's desperately sad.

You need to apply this every single time you wash the car/wheels and every time it rains.

he means that by the time he's down to applying the tire shine the brakes already start to rust

this will easily happen on a dry day

You certainly wouldn't want to try applying tire shine when it's raining out.
