Nope, I have not reached out to anyone in specific... Figured I'd get a better answer just asking this here so everyone could see and possibly answer if they could. Appreciating all the help and tips here guys!

These XXR 531's until I can comfortably afford to upgrade to some real wheels. (tight budget but I have been wanting this for some time) The RB kit and everything else is going to cost me enough considering what I can legitimately afford for the time being.. I found this picture of someone using XXR 531's, but no specs or anything like that.

Don't spend $1000 on wheels and tires when you know you're just going to replace them for something else. That's a waste of time and money. It's definitely impatient too.

Furthermore, the wheels you want will not fill the fenders. You need more aggressive sizes and offsets. If you don't understand what offset it, type the question into google or YouTube. All of the answers are out there. You just need to make the effort.

Robs FRS (the orange staycrushing rocket bunny FRS) is running 17×9.5 -20 and 17×11 -40 with 225/45/17 and 255/40/17.

Take those specs and go to:

Willtheyfit.com

When you find wheels that you like and want to run, start plugging in the new sizes to see what gets you close to the same fitment.

Rocket bunny ain't cheap. If you're not willing to dish out the extra cash to do it right, you should just sell the kit. Not trying to be a douce, just being honest. It requires hacking up a brand new car so once you do it, there's no going back. That being said, spend the extra and do it right or you'll DEFINITELY regret it down the road.

Simple rule of offset. The lower the offset, the more they stick out. The higher the offset, the more they are sunk in.

Wheel offset is really easy to understand it just requires a little math. 0 offset means the flat part of the wheel that mates up to your hub is dead centre of your rim. If you have a 9" wide rim with 0 offset then the wheel will extend 4.5" away from the hub. If you wheel arch/fender is that far from your hub then you will be flush.

A +45 offset means that outside lip of the wheel is 45mm closer to the hub. On the same car your 9" rim would now be 45mm recessed from the wheel arch/fender and 45mm closer to the strut/car.

A -45 offset is the opposite. On the 9" example the rim would poke 45mm out of the wheel arch/fender.

I know these example mix metric and imperial measurements but it isn't that hard to remember there are 25.4mm per inch.

So if you know just how far the RB kit flares the arches you can figure out your desired offset. From memory the stock wheels are 7" wide with a +43 offset. So for a stock look with the RB kit you would need to calculate the size of the flare the kit gives minus half the extra width of the rim you want over the stock wheel. then minus that figure from the stock offset.
eg (if the RB kit flared the guards 100mm per side and you used a 9" rim)

43-(100-25.4)= -31.6 which you would round to -32 offset.

Hope that helps.

Yeah I agree defiantly save up for rims you really want and will keep. Selling some used XXRs with specs like that will be difficult to say the least.
