I hate to necro, but do these lower the rear more than the front? Never really thought about it, but the gap up front is about twice as large as the gap at the rear per my measurements the other day.
Input, @Grimlock? |

On my car the rear does look a little lower than the front, but I just did a hub-to-fender measurement. 13" and 14/16ths rear and 14" front, so it is only about an 1/8th inch difference for me. Although it does look a little bigger than that. Maybe because I have more camber in the back? (-1.90º versus -1.20º) Are your measurements a lot different than mine? |

How many miles are on your springs? I have 4,600 on mine. Also, I'll pull the car out and snap a picture for you. |

EDIT: Just realized I have salt in the trunk and that's probably most of my problem. Last edited by OrbitalEllipses; 12-30-2013 at 07:35 PM. |

Quick note for folks who want to know how springs will affect your alignment:
I have RCE Yellows and I absolutely love them. Goal was to reduce the wheel gap with as little impact as possible on the ride, and the yellows accomplish that goal wonderfully. I haven't taken alignment measurements before putting the springs on, after springs and alignment I'm at: Camber: -1.5 front (with SPC camber bolts), -2.0 and -2.1 rear Toe: 0 all around Caster (front): 6.0, 6.1 Keep in mind that rear camber is not adjustable stock (neither is front, but the camber bolts are an easy fix). Negative 2.0/2.1 feels great even for daily driving, but I worry a bit about uneven tire wear. I'm going to watch it closely and if I notice uneven wear I'll get SPC lower control arms to reduce rear camber to -1.5. The rear bushings seem to be too much of a pain to install. BTW: My previous daily driver was a Miata NC with rear camber set to -2.0 and perfectly even tire wear. Hopefully the same will be true here. Last edited by sobrz; 03-26-2014 at 11:40 AM. |

Front fender arches tend to be cut higher than rears giving this appearence. They lower equal all around. They even used to sell "saggy butt spacers" for imprezas to fix this wierd look as on those cars it is really bad. Sent from my LT30at using Tapatalk |

^My issue is due to ballast in the trunk. We'll see what it's like once the temps get up to 50*F regularly and I can get rid of snow tires.
