Need helping choosing a/the rental car.
This summer my family is going to Greece for two weeks.
For once, we want to get a nice rental car. We brought it down to two choices. BMW 116i ![]() Alfa Romeo 159 2.2 JTS. ![]() Both cars you can't get in the US. I'm more partial to the Alfa...because it's an Alfa and i have yet to drive one. The BMW is cool but it's still a one series and a diesel. Here's one more factor. BMW: 680 euros Alfa: 870 euros That's the price for the rental.

I'd take the BMW, Alfas are great to look at and less so to drive or own.
Plus I am a cheap bastard. |

Family rented a Citroen turbo diesel when in spain a few years back, the thing ran like hell, and got good mpg, they should have more cars like that in the US, but the emissions won't let them ><
I'd take the bimmer hatch, seems like it would be more livable and convenient. |

Alfa.
Even though BMW is cheaper, it's still a lot of money for something that's only marginally different than what you can already drive in the US, whereas the Alfa will be a totally new experience. Plus, just look at it. |

Drive the Bimmer, it's better IMHO.
If you want the Alfa experience, go to your local dealer and drive a Dodge: http://europe.autonews.com/article/2...and-dodge-cars
