The dealer tried to shove the wrong size plastic rivet into my wheel well. It was entirely too long and it just stuck out at the base. Kinda like a movie I once saw...twice....

Used to do these all the time at the dealership. Was told that seaboard states all got them but cars shipped to the low-salt environments did not. I always put em in but plenty of the older guys in the shop just said "to hell with that ish" and threw them out. Idk how effective they are but if Subie (or Hyundai which was also at my shop) gives them to me, I'll put them in.
