I removed the absolutely fugly BRZ fuel door sticker and found scratches underneath. I hope they buff out.

duplicolor perfect match off the clearance rack at advance auto. i think it was chrysler sand drift. i painted the lettering red with a small brush because i had just got done doing that to the 86 fender vents i swapped for.

Total cost in LEDs is probably <$10, and that's if you get really nice LEDs. Mine were from a batch I ordered off a Chinese vendor on ebay a couple years ago to do another project. I only needed 3 for speedo, 3 for tach, and 1 each for gas and coolant temp, so 8 PLCC2 3528 LEDs total.

added some more color under the hood, beatsonic sharkfin, grimmspeed master cylinder brace, perrin strut tower, lamin-x yellow covers

Shouldn't be any more difficult than a retrofit. Open headlights, disassemble front half of projector from reflector bowl, remove and replace lens (and do any color modding here), reassemble, close headlights. For someone who has done a retrofit before, it shouldn't take more than a couple hours to do this.

Awesome. Can't remember if you can bake the brz housings but would love to switch to these and a phillips bulb from trs but saw we use a different type than normal

You can most definitely bake the BRZ headlights. They use the soft sealant.

The BRZ uses D4S bulbs and ballasts, so switching bulbs isn't as easy (D4S isn't nearly as common in the aftermarket) as with, say, the STI, which uses D2S bulbs and ballasts.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. Definitely don't want to switch to aftermarket ballasts to run d2s but I'll definitely be doing the lens. The Fxr were awesome on the m3
