The reason I would only touch those areas as that is where you are WOT. Then if you see any FBKC/FLKC, back those cells off by 0.35 deg.
Do you mind telling me the exactly name of the tables, I srsly never edited one in my whole life.

So you are suggesting to just make the change that affect WOT and not partial throttle, why this kind of choice??

btw: i can't open the rom in romraider checksum 2 fail edit table has been disabled : /

It's quite strange that you guys are having knock with 98ron. I'm using a 100ron fuel ( probably 98) and my IAM is steady at 1.

Could be temperature or elevation differences.... Pretty sure it's warmer down under than Italy.

Appears to be differences in fuel formulation 98RON is supposed to be equivalent to 93 AKI USA but it appears its not quite as good hence were having to pull some timing or run 100 RON which is not readily available to most. even on 100RON I was getting IAM drop on occasions.

On 100RON in OZ it was pretty good IAM=1 most of the time, but you could get it to drop if you punch the throttle in the 2000-3500 RPM range under load a few times in a short period. on 98 RON it did it much more often.

I'll try to do few wot pulls from 2000 to 3500
Only in 4th and 5th gear to increase load. Will see.

Steve do you know the advance timing table full name. I want to increase timings a bit and see if I can run a little more aggressive tune.
I went to advance timing category but don't understand what table in the folder should I touch.

"Base Timing B" I believe or "Advance max A"

@Victor Draken the advance table is Knock Correction Advance Max A in RR.

As for partial throttle areas, I suppose this comes down to a couple of things. Do you feel you want more go for when you're just cruising? Cruise areas also appear to be the more knock prone with tip in knock. Seeing as Shiv has spent time developing the maps I don't see the need to push them in the areas when you're not going for it. If you look at the logs and see when you hit loads of 1 and above, you'll realise that for any decent throttle angle you're pushing through them anyway so load<1 is usually just cruising and the start of the pedal going down.

I've just noticed that Shiv's advance table isn't flat. You can help yourself by making a flat table and then you can easily see what changes you've made.

Look at your log, you are not immune to fbkc.

@shiv@vishnu

here is a log using Tactrix with a few more parameters.

http://datazap.me/u/steve99/98-knock-map-3-runs

I'm a bit concerned re the flck (as opposed to fbck) that I'm logging at 5000-7000 rpm. Also do you know the significance of flck_offset ??

I'm back on 98 RON again. This is the map with 0.35 pulled from areas in the 2000-3200 rpm range.

bit worried about the higher rpm flck though

AFR seems slightly rich (stock intake and exhaust)

Are the trims out far enough to warant maf scale ??
