I have 3 friends that were education majors and didn't have any issues finding a job and another one who is graduating this semester who already has a job lined up, or did you mean something else by "worst to teach in"?
I understand. Maybe still trying taking 1 or 2 classes a semester to raise your GPA while working and improving your experience. I would only recommend this if you are still trying to pursue into therapy. Also can't you keep your letters of recommendation and reuse it?

As in low pay, high bureaucracy, and low respect. In other states, you tend to get less of the crap and more respect.

If you're burnt out on school, you're not getting anywhere fast. Going back and fixing your grades then coming back with an essay saying how dedicated you are, well, that might just get you into the program you want.

Perhaps, idk how it looks if they can see that it is an old letter, also one of them was sent electronically straight from my therapist.

The BS part is if they would have just looked at my transcript they would have seen my grades progressed every year and i was in a bunch of student organizations for that specific field. That would be super upsetting if going back to take some simple BS classes i did bad in 6 years ago would show that i am more dedicated than i already was, but yea im definitely a little burnt out on school.

ITT: OP bitches about not having any prospective job opportunities, makes excuses for why.

Seriously, quit being such a sissy and apply for anything and everything under the sun. It doesn't even have to be "in your field."

If you're really desperate to go travel the world and make some cash, I know of at least 3 countries where you could use your vast knowledge of the English language (/sarcasm) to teach K-12 students. I taught English in S. Korea for a year under the TaLK program. I made $18,000 in that year, spent most of it on drinking and going out with friends (to go drinking ) I made over there. Came back to the good ol' US of A, paid off some credit card debt with whatever was left over, and finished my undergrad degree.

You sound like my situation a year ago. I got a degree in criminal justice hoping to find work in Law somewhere and if I enjoyed it then make my way to law school. Never found even the slightest opening in a firm and instead found myself in a shitty desk job in a major grocery store corporate office. I'm going to stick this out (simply for the pay) until my fiance graduates next year with the same degree you got and go back to school myself for business or something in computers/technology. All the power to you my friend I feel your pain.

That's a whole load of crock. You've given up on it and then you whine about why you can't find anything. That's like me looking at the mirror and going "well, I can't lose 50lbs because it'll hurt and I won't magically lose it RIGHT NOW". Fuck that shit.

To quote Gandhi:

"Men often become what they believe themselves to be if. If I believe I cannot do something, it makes me incapable of doing it but when I believe I can then I acquire the ability to do it even if I didn't have it in the beginning."

Get off your ass and GO MOVE.

Impossibility is just a label someone uses to defy your will. Break them.

You've mentioned being burnt-out and it definitely sounds like you've got a defeatist attitude about your prospects right now.

Somebody NEEDS a vacation! AT LEAST 2 WEEKS off doing something that will take your mind completely off all of this and just recharge and regroup. Then come back to it with a fresh, and hopefully more positive mindset.

Good luck and keep at it...Persistence beats resistance!

I don't even know how many undergrad degrees match the field they work in, because it's just not something that happens. If you want to pursue a particular field, you get a master's.

I work in IT. My degree is not in IT, but I have 5 years of various IT experience.

Ideally i would like to be an exercise physiologist (45-55k annually), but every employer wants someone with experience and i do not have a connection. My lack of experience doesn't really help. I am currently a personal trainer at 24hr fitness to get "experience" but i absolutely hate it there, and i don't even know if it will look good for that particular job. The pay is inconsistent and low, i also have to constantly sale myself and make phone calls to sale to people. I didn't get my degree in sales -_- and i have an Amiable personality which is the worst for sales jobs.

I am contemplating going and being a process technician (plant operator) which will pay me $25/hr with potential for lots of over time (50-80k annually), and i'll be on the dupont schedule which gives me a week off every month allowing me to travel. However, growing up in an area that thrives off of plants i always told myself i wouldn't work in one when i grew up, but now idk what to do...
This sounds like in those special cases where you're going to have to lie in your resume and have someone vouch for you.

As for the school. You could always give reasons why your GPA is the way it is during the interview or the personal statement. Unless you've already tried that.. then a different school could be the same thing... Or you could pick up a job as a Exercise Science Research Associate or whatnot.
